Martin Luther began the Reformation in the early 16th century because he disagreed with a number of issues. One of the primary issues had to do with the definition of justification. He also disagreed that one was required to do good works in order to be saved. This essay discusses the issues of justification, grace alone, faith alone, Christ alone and righteousness.
